Bradford Insulation – Australian Made For 80 Years

Bradford Insulation had its earliest beginnings in 1932, when the business commenced the production of thermal insulation from recycled waste slag. The business grew, and during the 1950’s, was bought up by CSR Limited, one of Australia’s oldest companies. It was also during this time that modern rockwool manufacturing was introduced to company’s operations. It was in the 1970’s the Bradford Insulation introduced glasswool technology into its production, and in the 1990’s the now famous Bradford Insulation “Gold” Batts were launched. More recently the new Bradford Black insulation was launched, following the general ‘low itch insulation’ trend which has seen other insulation brands focus on developing softer, more pleasant to work with insulation products. Bradford Insulation has a presence in over 20 facilities throughout Australia including regional towns; Wagga Wagga and Tamworth, including 6 manufacturing plants.
