Commercial Insulation Product Features
The function of commercial acoustic insulation is to reduce sound transmission and reverberated noise. Commercial offices, schools, health care facilities, hospitality, theaters and auditoriums spaces can all benefit from the use of acoustic commercial insulation products.
Rigid board insulation has a high thermal value due to this product type having low thermal conductivity. Rigid board insulation has a fibre-free insulation core and as the board is a closed cell structure it is resistant to water vapour and moisture. This product is a very effective product for commercial use in exterior and interior wall sheathing, roofs, under slab and foundations installation.
Commercial insulation such as reflective foil is suitable for use in commercial and industrial buildings for roof wall and floor applications. Reflective foil insulation has a thin layer of foil on one or both sides of the insulation and can reflect up to 97% of radiant heat and is designed for temperature and noise control especially in buildings with a metal roof.
Glasswool Insulation is the most common insulation used in homes and commercial buildings for walls, ceilings, and floors. It works by trapping air between its fine glass fibres, limiting and even stopping airflow. As glasswool it is not a good conductor of heat, any heat that passes through it is trapped in the air pockets.
