We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of insuldenim> by insulearth>, the first Recycled Denim Insulation products to be made in Australia – a next-generation solution for sustainable thermal comfort, combining recycled materials with reliable performance for Australian homes.
We’re currently finalising stock with our manufacturing partner, Planet Protector. If you’re an architect, builder, or other trade interested in sustainable building materials – we’d love to talk.
Call us on 1800 308 740 or fill in the form, and a Pricewise Insulation team member will call you back.
Available in R-values up to R4.5, denim insulation is ideal for walls, ceilings, and underfloors. It holds its own against traditional products, with R2.0–R2.5 for 90mm and 140mm wall studs, and recent testing confirming R4.5 for ceiling applications at 190–200mm thickness.
Denim naturally wicks moisture away, reducing the risk of condensation and mould. It doesn’t trap water, maintaining thermal performance in humid conditions.
Made from recycled cotton fibres, it’s safe to touch and doesn’t irritate the skin or lungs. It can be cut with a standard knife or torn by hand for low-density applications.
Constructed as a dense mat with strong fibre interlock, denim insulation resists sagging and holds its shape over time – no special supports required.
Manufactured from post-consumer denim, it supports a circular economy and offers a low-tox alternative for environmentally-conscious builds.
