Bradford Gold Hi-Performance insulation batts are specifically designed to deliver optimal performance in ceilings. Climate is a major factor to determine the R-Value best suited to your home. When we speak about the “R-Value”, this basically is referring to how well the insulation will restrict the transfer of heat and cold from inside to outside. CSR Bradford’s Hi-Performance ceiling batts are sold in R-Values of R5.0 to R7.0, which is the highest level of protection available anywhere in this country.

If you fear the winter chill entering your Snowy Mountain chalet or just want to know that you’ve got more than enough thermal insulation, then R6.0 ceiling insulation might be the right choice for you and your home. The sheer volume of this insulation batt can make it a bit hard to cut, so if you’re installing it yourself, make sure you have a sharp, long-bladed knife handy for the job. An additional benefit of R6.0 ceiling insulation is that it can help to reduce thermal bridging. As you install the batts (the individual pieces) between the ceiling joists, you’ll notice that the upper section of the R6.0 insulation batt, (which is almost 30cm thick) will naturally expand a little to each side, covering a portion of the joist on either side. This reduces the air gap above the timber, which in turn increases the thermal efficient of the ceiling insulation.Unlike so many other types of heating and cooling control, ceiling insulation needs no maintenance or replacement. Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase and will incur a 15% - 30% restocking fee. Some custom made products cannot be returned. For further information, please read our Returns Policy.

Each brand has a different pickup location. Please contact us for the nearest pickup location in your state. Standard orders are ready for collection within 1-2 days.

Pricewise Insulation Returns Policy
Leftover products may be returned to Pricewise Insulation if they meet the below requirements:
- Items must be returned within 30 days of ordering.
- Insulation products must be in their original packaging and condition. We reserve the right not to refund wet or damaged products.
- A 15% restocking fee will apply for glasswool, polyester and rockwool products.
- A 30% restocking fee will apply for foam and rigid insulation products.
Please also note the following:
- We cannot guarantee returns or refunds for custom made products.
- Some manufacturers do not allow returns in certain states. This will be outlined on the product page itself.
You may return the insulation to the warehouse which it was dispatched from or pay for a courier to collect it from your home or building site. Please give our team a call on 1300 729 639 to make arrangements.
